I think the contest is a lot of fun but I also love the Clorox® Clean-Up® Recipes for Fun site it provides lots of cool ideas of different things you can do with your kids to have a blast. The kids and I love getting creative and when we get creative we also get really messy. We love making things with glitter and glue and often end up having a glitter fight. I always end up with the greatest pictures when we just let loose, make a mess and have fun. I am really thankful for Clorox then, I usually personally use the Clorox wipes they make the job of cleanup a breeze.
So right now I am going to share with you a new super simply silly breakfast recipe the kids and I came up with called Squakes. It is a lot of fun and we usually make quite the mess : )
You will need:
Instant pancake mix
A small square single serve pan
A medium to large size pan
Topping or fillings of choice you could go fruity with strawberries and whip cream or meaty with sausage and bacon just get creative and have fun!
You just take regular instant pancake mix and prepare as usual then make the pancakes/squakes in the square pan and when it comes time to flip, flip them in the larger pan to finish cooking. They actually come out really good this way.
Then you take a squake and put what you want on it Carly and I like strawberries and whip crème. Jack, Thor, and Chris like bacon, sausage, and then pour syrup on top. My kid’s loves making these because were really silly about them and we let the kids name them you could let your kids come up with a name. Also the kids love coming up with crazy ideas for squake sandwiches. Jack tried really hard a few nights ago to convince us we should not use buns for sloppy Joes but we should use squakes. My kids would be all for replacing all bread in the house with squakes.
Here are some pictures of the squakes.

Also you can get the little square pan at Amazon, Bed Bath and Beyond, or the Ross.
